Epic Newsletter #5 Jan 2000 layout outlines argon epic shading touchups spear used Welcome to the fifth Epic release It s been a long two months since last release the most turbulent in the group s history nevertheless we remain strong and focused on bringing only high quality art to the table Well I have good news and bad news epic fans Lets start with the bad news first A short while after releasing our fourth pack dr shizuma propane and maytag man quit to form their own group Also cryogenic decided to call it quits and joined used When these facts are combined with the ever crippling effect of real life cursing members epic s productivity last month went downhill This partly explains the high number of joints and low amount of ansis in this pack The other reason is that we are pretty much lazy ) Anyhow I apologize for the overabundance of joints a release that carries the name Epic on it should be composed of the group s artists and not guests For this reason we are no longer accepting guest art except under very special circumstances (i e the pic kicks too much ass to refuse ) Oh yeah the good news Reanimator joins us Anyone heard of this guy I heard he was pretty good Also joining is Zippy (not the black maiden one! ) this guy does pics that give me the oldschool warm fuzzies!
